One of the trains I saw in the station was one of the fast Eurocity express trains that was going to Geneva. Here is a photo of one of these trains. I didn't take this photo but it gives you an idea of how great these trains look.
All of the shops were your typical upscale Italian stores but right in the middle of the concourse was a Roadhouse Grill restaurant. For those not familiar with this chain of American steakhouses, the floors in the restaurant are usually littered with peanut shells as there are buckets of peanuts on the tables. Somehow, I don't see that happening here.
We then took a taxi to our hotel and ran into one of the members of our tour group who also got here early. A group of us will be getting together for dinner later this evening.
Tomorrow during the day we will spend some time on our own seeing some of the sights in Milano. Our tour actually begins tomorrow evening with a Welcome Dinner where we will get a chance to meet our Tour Director.
